一、《四川统计年鉴—2001》是一部全面反映四川省经济和社会发展情况的综合性统计资料年刊。本年鉴收录了全省和各市(州)、县(市、区)2000年经济和社会各方面的大量统计数据，以及历史重要年份和近年来的全省主要统计数据，并附录了世界主要国家的主要统计数据。在本年鉴中，较大篇幅的增加了分地区、分县的统计资料；首次增加了全省风景名胜、星级宾馆、交通事故、火灾事故、婚姻状况等资料。 二、《四川统计年鉴—2001》内容共分为20个部分，即，1．行政区划和自然资源；2．综合；3．人口；4．从业人员和职工工资；5．固定资产投资；6．财政和物价；7．人民生活；8．民族自治地区概况；9．市县概况；10．农业；11．工业；12．建筑业；13．交通运输、邮电和通讯；14．国内贸易；15．对外经济贸易和旅游；16．金融和保险；17．教育、科技和专利；18．文化、体育、卫生、社会福利和其他；19．企业调查；20．附录。 三、本年鉴中所使用的度量衡单位均采用国际统一标准计量单位。 四、本年鉴中有部分资料因统计口径的变化与往年不一致，我们在表中加了注释，使用时请注意。 五、本年鉴表中的符号使用说明： “…”表示数据不足本表最小单位数； “空格”表示该项目统计数据不详或无该项数据； “#”表示其中的主要项。 由于我们编印水平有限，书中难免有错误和不足，敬请各位读者批评指正。 Ⅰ.Sichuan Statistical Yearbook 2001 is an annual statistics publication, which covers very comprehensive data series in 2000 and some selected data series in historically important years and the most recent years at provincial level, local levels of prefecture and level of county, and therefore, reflects various aspects of Sichuan’s social and economic development. For the first time, the data of main scenic spots, star-rated tourist hotels, fires, traffic accidents, marriage and divorces are added to the book this year. Ⅱ.The book contains the following twenty parts, 1. Division of Administrative Areas and Natural Resources, 2. General Survey, 3. Population, 4. Employment and Wage, 5. Investment in Fixed Assets, 6. Local Government Finance and Price, 7. People’s Livelihood, 8.Survey of Ethnic Minority Autonomous Areas, 9. Survey of Municipality and County, 10. Agriculture, 11. Industry, 12. Construction, 13. Transportation, Post and Telecommunications Services, 14. Domestic Trade, 15. Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, International Tourism, 16. Banking and Insurance, 17.Education, Science, Technology and Patents, 18. Culture, Sports, Public Health, Social Welfare and Others, 19. Enterprise Survey, Appendix: Statistics on Major Countries and Territories. Ⅲ.The units of measurement used in this book are internationally standard measurement units. Ⅳ.The concepts, definitions and coverage of statistics of some data in this book have been adjusted, which are not comparable with former years, therefor some notes are added in this book. Users are alerted to the notes about the difference in the concepts, definitions and coverage of statistics when using and comparing data in this book. Ⅴ.Notations used in this book: "…" indicates that the figure is not large enough to be measured with the smallest unit in the table, "(blank)"indicates that the data not available, "#" indicates the major items of the total. Ⅵ.During the compilation of the Yearbook, we have got the support from many relative units and people. We express our thanks to all of them.
