一、《甘肃年鉴》是甘肃省人民政府按年连续出版的大型综合性年刊。它以大量翔实可靠的资料，全面记载了甘肃政治、经济、军事、法律及社会发展情况，是各级党政领导、经济管理部门、企事业单位、科研部门和中外投资者了解省情、市情、县情，进行科学决策、咨询和研究的重要工具书。 二、《甘肃年鉴》2001年刊是创刊以来的第8卷，全部为中英文对照版并配有电子版。主要记载2000年甘肃社会经济发展情况，但统计资料在时间上有所上溯。 三、《甘肃年鉴》2001年刊共分为三部分：第一部分设特载、大事记、概况、政治、法制、地方武装、农业经济、工业、环保测绘、交通邮电、商业旅游、财政税务、金融保险、经济管理、国土资源地震气象、社会事业、地县概况17个篇目，51万字；第二部分设综合、人口劳动力、固定资产投资、能源消费、财政金融保险、物价、人民生活、城市概况、农业、工业、建筑业、交通运输邮电通信业、批发零售贸易业及餐饮业、对外经济贸易及旅游、教育科技及文化、体育卫生及其他、少数民族、企业集团及企业景气指数、西部资料19个篇章，370板块统计资料；第三部分以彩色插图的形式，介绍了甘肃省名优新特产品，部分机关、企业和事业单位。 四、《甘肃年鉴》2001年刊的体例分为篇目、分目和条目三个层次，以条目作为基本结构单元。条目标题均用黑体字加【】。 五、《甘肃年鉴》2001年刊所使用的基本统计数字均以统计部门为准。由于制度方法改革，有些统计资料的包括范围、口径和计算方法有所变化，使用时请注意。文稿中的数字，部分为初步统计数，如与统计表中不一致，以统计表为准。六、感谢广大读者多年来对《甘肃年鉴》编辑出版工作的支持和帮助，欢迎继续提出宝贵意见，使《甘肃年鉴》的形式和内容更趋完善。 1.Gansu Yearbook is a regular large-scale, synthetic annual publication of Gansu Peoples Government. It records Gansu politics, economy, military affairs, law and social develop-ment with large, full and accurent, reliable data. It is a important reference book for the Party and government leaders at all levels, the economic management departments, enter-prises and institutions, the scientific research departments, China and foreign investors to comprehend provincial, citys and countys situation, carry out scientific decision, consulta-tion and research. 2.Gansu Yearbook 2001 is the eighth volume since establishment, it is published in com-plete Chinese-English edition, has electronic edition, mainly records the condition of Gansu social and economic development in 2000. But statistical data has certain tracing to the source. 3.Gansu Yearbook 2001 has three parts. The first part consists of 17 chapters, 5,100,000 words concerning featured articles, survey politics, law, military affairs, rural economy, industry, environmental protection and survey drawing, transportation and post, commerce and tourism, finance and taxation, banking and insurance, economic management, Land resource, earthquake and meteorology, social undertaking, survey of prefectures and counties. The second parts consists of 19 the chapters,370 plates concerning General survey, Popula-tion and employment, Fixed assets investment, Energy consumption, Finance, banking and insurance, Commodity price, Peoples livelihood, Urban survey, Agriculture, Industry, Construction, Transportation, post and telecommunication, Wholesale and retail sale, cater-ing trades, Foreign economy, trade and tourism, Education, science, technology and culture, Sport, health case and Other,Ethnic minority group, Enterprise group and economic indica-tors of enterprise, Western data. The third parts introduces famous, excellent, new and spe-cial products, certain offices enterprises and institutions by the way of color pictures. 4.The style of Gansu Yearbook 2001 is divided into contents,sort and entry three overlapping, the entry is based on basic structure unit. The headline of entry is added [ ]by blackbody word. 5.Basic statistical dates used in Gansu Yearbook 2001 all take the dates of the statistical bureau as the standard. Since the reformation of system and method, scope, statement and calculating method of some statistical dates have been changed, pay attention please.
